Our 2013 Mazda was having problems and a transmission place in Lee's Summit told us it needed to have the transmission replaced for a cost of about $7,500. We took it to Certified Transmission in nearby Blue Springs for a second opinion and quote. Scott was very helpful and honest at all stages of the inspection. In the end, he said they felt the same symptoms, but as a starting point, he recommended changing the transmission fluid, adding an additive to the transmission fluid, and seeing if that would help. We did and, for now, it has fixed the problem with our transmission. Scott's honesty and willingness to take a less expensive approach were greatly appreciated and showed his commitment to the customer, not making the biggest sale. I would certainly recommend Scott and his team of transmission specialists at their shop in Blue Springs.
